About us
Home Acres Reformed Church is a small congregation with a friendly, family feel. We sit on the urban edge of Grand Rapids in the city of Kentwood. We have a long history in our neighborhood, beginning on May 5, 1925, with a need for a church in this rapidly growing area. Our name, "Home Acres," actually comes from our neighborhood of days gone by. Our founders wanted to identify with those around us and create a neighborhood church.

This belief that our neighbors are the ones God calls us to love and to be in relationship continues to define our mission today. We belong to the greater family of the Reformed Church in America. Our pastor is Rev. Darrell Dalman. He has been leading our church family for numerous years.
Partners in Faith
We share our building with two other congregations; New Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church and International Evangelical Mission Community. Recently, we partnered with Esperanza Covenant Church to "rehab" a home for one of her church family members.
